A very beautiful shot...too bad such a tragedy had to take place :( . Still, your picture evokes the sorrow and heartfelt caring of people over the maasacre.

May God bless the victim's families and prayers for comfort and peace...

Not really difficult, but sad...

And I will - you too as well.

Well done. I thought of you that day. I talk to a lot of college kids and I don't remember who is where and what most of their names are, but I do remember enjoying them and encouraging them. I wish the world was a lot less scary and in better shape for you all to enjoy. No matter what though you will find enough in it to make you happy, you need only appreciate what you come across...

Thank you.

Unfortunately things like this are a reality check... You realize that it could happen anywhere. But luckily most people are sane enough to realize that even if life has handed them a bad deck of cards, they have no reason to take it out on the innocent.

This "man" was troubled, but it is even more disturbing that once again a lot of people knew he was screwed up. Big issue in this country, "guns", it seems that the more some want them the less rights they should have to get them. Everybody is right about it too. I personally feel guns should not be so readily available in an urban society, and young people not allowed to buy them till they are older, much older.

What's also disturbing is that he was put in a mental hospital overnight and that didn't put up any red flags when his history was checked when he went to buy the gun...

Something horrible always has to happen for things to be changed... South of my campus is one of the agriculture buildings (my university started off as an ag college) but there wasn't a crosswalk across the street. This girl was at the ag building for class or an animal show or something late at night and no buses run over there at night. So when she was going back to campus she had to cross that street - well, as she was crossing she got hit by a car and was killed.

There's a crosswalk there now.
